Tea Cup on Amorphous Red Blob

Well, I'm proud I painted on my second day- that's two days in a row. Off to a good start- much better than my track record for some fitness plans.

But that's pretty much where the pride stops on this one. Lost the drawing, never decided on the color of the light, didn't decide on/indicate the form for the cup or the cloth/red blob (nailed the form on the wall though! Judochop!), and there's no reflected light from the cup onto the cloth. The good side is that it's been bothering me all day and I'm looking forward to taking another stab at it...
